I’m into a a few different types of music. I draw inspiration from different types and apply a similar flow to my weddings. Finding light in dark places during a wedding day feels like the quiet part of a song. Sometimes the quiet parts are the most powerful and bold.
Sure, I love running around in the bush, valleys, fields and or mountains but nothing gets me more pumped than interesting light. At the end of the day, thats what makes photography work. I’ve come to realise one of the biggest draw cards for me. Every minute the light is fleeting. Its changing. Just like a wedding day. Every minute is a fleeting minute and regardless how much you anticipate what will happen next, you can be easily surprised. I love that sense of being kept on my toes.
