I had such a fun arvo with Rheanna & Matt on this one at Moana Hall. We did things a little different for their wedding. I snuck out with Rheanna & Matt prior to their surprise ceremony, for their portrait session. A quick lap across the road, near the Old Treasury Building before heading to a little hidden treasure right in the heart of the Perth CBD.

Dynamic and variety is something I work really hard on for my couples. So playing in nice even light as well as tricky light creates an opportunity to incorporate a variety of different vibes. From candid and documentary images through to the more creative graphic ones. Subtly and balance is the key to making it all work together.

Their ceremony was definitely more of a dark and moody vibe lit essentially by candle light at Moana Hall. Technology has come along way to be able to photograph reliably in such low lighting conditions. Experience also played a big key, so I was ready for this one.
